If you were to type "Intertextuality" in the google search bar, the definition you would get is, " the relationship between texts, especially literary ones." However, I believe that intertextuality demands much more explanation than that one line and therefore, I am dedicating this post to explaining intertextuality, what it comprises and its purpose.
If you would have a look at the video (the one below) that I created, using Powtoon, it would give you a fair idea of intertextuality and then we can move on to discussing its types and examples.
Having given a basic idea of intertextuality, lets move on to the major types of intertextuality and their examples. To explain these, I created another Powtoon video which I have attached below and you may have a look.
